Farr 72'
The Farr 72' is the miles stone model of Southern Wind Shipyard and thanks to it the Southern Wind challenge started.
Conceived for blue water and fast cruises, it was designed by Bruce Farr, for the naval architecture and by the Italian interior designer Antonio Minniti.
The Farr 72' was also the terrain on which all the most important design concepts that would characterize the Southern Winds were developed. For instance, Far Cape, 72' hull number 3, was the first Southern Wind with a guest zone afore and the crew area astern, which is now the Classic Southern Wind configuration.

On deck, the emphasis is on simplicity and performance. The separate steering cockpit allows guests to relax without being disturbed while the boat is cruising.
The generous sleeping accommodation includes three cabins each with private bath. There are two cabins with double bed, including one large master cabin and other cabin with twin beds in the forepeak, providing plenty of space for everyone.
