Catamaran 48'

This fast sailing yacht is your choice for a relaxed cruising holiday, gourmet cuisine and fun activities in and out of the water. The owner, a former chef, runs the yacht like a floating restaurant. Mouthwatering Thai and European dishes keep appearing from the galley. Fresh water usage is no issue with the large capacity water maker. Cabins are well ventilated with opening hatches and electric fans. Or ... you can sleep under the stars: the 30 sqm of netting is probably the largest bed you've ever slept in! The on-board Thai massage (included!) will have you completely relaxed while enjoying the soft tones of "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik"! This yacht is known for its high standard of Thai and European catering and Italian style espresso's. Your holiday on Mozart will be a relaxing and culinary experience. On-board Thai massage included for up to 6 guests bookings.

Below Decks
You will immediately feel at home on this yacht. Mozarts' interior is stylishly designed in natural wood colours contrasting with light tinted interior elements. The varnished teak&beach floor is a masterpiece of craftmanship adding a nice touch to the homely feeling on the yacht.

Mozart features two en-suite double cabins with their own bathroom and shower facilities and two double aft cabins with access to shower and bathroom. All cabins are well-ventilated with electric fans and opening hatches and have room for storing your personal belongings. Mozart's crew is accommodated forward in their own private cabins.

The saloon is spacious with a u-shaped, light-tinted leather settee set around the central table. 9 Persons can sit here for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or comfortably lounge and read a book in between. A convenient and well-stocked galley is located in the port (left) hull and is fitted with a gas stove and an oven/grill.

Above decks
Above decks Mozart is huge, taking into account she is 48 feet
x 25 feet. She is fitted with an aluminium fixed awning for protection from the sun and the occasional tropical shower. Lunches are often served on the open-air foredeck under a shady and airy flexible awning with panoramic view of the surroundings.

The uncluttered decks with wide walkways make her a safe vessel for children. One can also laze in the bow netting during passages and sleep under the stars if wished.

Access to the water is safe and easy from the low to the water swim platform and ladder. A deck shower is located on the aft transom.

Prices: from 1200 euros per day, max 8 passengers

Crew
Austrian yachtsman Wolfgang himself was named after the great composer, he called his first yacht Amadeus so his second, his new ultimate dream catamaran, could really only have one name: Mozart.
Having sailed, dived and very successfully chartered in Thailand and Burma for some eight years he knows the area like the back of his hand and he will be able to show you, besides the well known famous places, some "secret" spots, unspoiled, usually inaccessible for "normal" mono hulled yachts and stunningly beautiful.
Mozart's' speed means you can cover a lot of ground within a short time. This way cruising grounds further away come within your reach, even during shorter charters.

The Andaman Islands
Floating in splendid isolation some 400 nautical miles north-west from Phuket in the Andaman Sea is this archipelago of over 500 islands, islets, rocks and reefs. They stretch out over a length of 430 miles and are an unparalleled destination for nature lovers and divers alike.

Geologically speaking the islands were once part of a mountain range stretching roughly from what is now Burma to Sumatra.

The climate is somewhat cooler than Thailand or Burma, seabreezes further reduce the temperature. You may actually find a need for a jacket in the mornings.

The aboriginal peoples on the Andaman and Nicobar islands are of Negroid and Mongoloid stocks. The main tribes are the Onge, Andamanese, Shompen, Nicobarese and Jarawa Sentinelese.

A bove water the islands are a veritable Garden of Eden and a naturalists haven. The rainforests are a habitat to a vast number of plant-, bird-, and animal species, many of them unique in the world. The canopied forests themselves have an amazing variety of timbers, foliage and blooms.
The Andaman Paduk, the Yellow Hibiscus, the White Lily, the Pandanus as well as many varieties of Orchids are but a few of the over 700 species of plants to be found.Flocks of parrots, Bahminy kites, hornbills, sea eagles, and herons will delight the birdwatcher. Around sunrise one can often sight spotted deer along the shores.

Another unusual sight is the swimming elephants. After a day's work the mahouts (elephant trainers) take their pachyderms for a refreshing swim. The elephants can actually swim under water using their trunks as a snorkel!
