Our mission is ‘to guide and assist voyagers in their discovery of the Mediterranean’. Absolutely convinced that there is no better way than a private cruise to discover the amazing variety of the Med, we specially care of curious travellers who have never been at sea. To quote one of our guests, we offer ‘a holistic experience which includes, as no other means of transport can, the excitement of cruising; romantic coves; exposure to history; and delicious Mediterranean eating -- all without crowds and waiting’.
We could not achieve our mission underestimating the importance of the crew.
A good crew is an essential aspect of the cruise. We personally selected and trained many sailors in such places as Cape Horn, Alaska, the Caribbean, Patagonia and the Mediterranean. We search confidence, attitude, local knowledge and experience. These three factors are extremely important when it comes to the safety of the voyage, the comfort of the passengers and level of the service. That’s why we do not simply measure the crew’s capacity in terms of miles and licences, but also consider their motivation, their attitude and their overall knowledge of the area. |

As far as my background, I have been sailing since the age of 13 out of my home port of Arcachon in the bay of Biscay and began my professionnal career in the French Riviera in 1973; got my first skipper position in 1975 on a gorgeous S&S wooden yawl and have cruised on many different boats (only one powerboat!) in the Us, both coasts, down to Hawaii , Tahiti, Costa Rica and Panama and on my own sailing 30 foot sloop in the Med, West Africa, Brazil and a lot of the Caribbean which i know like the back of my hand! Many years with the bare boat companies! This is going to be my 13th atlantic crossing and still looking forward to it! |

Italian expat, MBA, 39, sailed the equivalent of two round the world voyages. He still believes that the poetry of small european havens can be found in other continents, and he keeps searching for them anywhere. His dream has been deluded so far, so he is now back in the med, the only cruising destination where he can be 5 minutes from a decent piece of cheese and glass of wine. He suffered from the TMT syndrome and sailed for years among icebergs and seals. But now he is back among the humans and prefers warmer waters and more frequented places. He should definitely buy new bibs... |

D'estate naviga in Grecia. |

Born and raised in a Navy environment, he accompanied his father in the Naval Academy and learned to sail with a guy named Agostino Straulino (Star Class Olympic Gold Medal). Then sailed in many seas, warm and cold, as a bosun on the Italian Navy sailboat, Stella Polaris. Not easily chained by strict discipline, he soon cast off for himself, seeding a wide network of relationships in most Mediterranean countries. He knows nearly every harbour, wine, tavern and bay between Trieste and Trieste via Istambul and Gibraltar. |
